Canterbury Academy Netball Club was formed in 2008 by Chris George and her daughter Anna. They set the club up to provide netball activity for girls from Canterbury and the surrounding area, initially training at St Edmunds School the club had approximately 20 members who were aged between 12-18 years. Since 2010 the club has expanded to include Under 11 players as well as adults as our first juniors got to 18 and didn't want to leave!
In the summer of 2019 we celebrated over a decade of the club that now has more than 70 members of all ages and abilities. We currenly train at the University of Kent on Monday evenings and have two teams that play in the local Canterbury District League on Sundays.
We welcome everyone and are incredibly proud of our ethos, which embodies the club values that were selected by our members and now form the basis for our end of season awards each year.
